Dutch Waste Management Association (DWMA)
Representing the waste sector in the Netherlands and Europe
The Dutch Waste Management Association (DWMA) represents the national and international interests of waste companies active in the Netherlands. With more than 50 members, the DWMA is an important discussion partner for government departments, regional and local authorities and other organisations.
We keep abreast of the full range of industrial, commercial, governmental and public interests relevant to waste management. We lobby for a healthy and balanced business climate in the Netherlands and Europe, and promote efficient, practicable and sustainable waste management. Our head office is in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, and we have a European office in Brussels.

Broad representation of the Dutch market
Our members are active throughout the whole waste chain, from waste collection, recycling and processing - including composting and anaerobic digestion - to waste-to-energy and landfill operation. Some are active in sewer maintenance. Our members account for about two-thirds of the entire Dutch waste market.
The Dutch Waste Management Association is a member of important European associations. Our members take an active part in the work of these organisations.
